Shyheim, de son véritable nom Shyheim Franklin, né le 14 novembre 1979 à Staten Island, New York, est le plus jeune membre de la Wu-family.

Son premier album " The rugged child " sorti à peine à l'age de 15 ans, montrait déjà de grands signes de maturité.

Lyricallement, il impressionne par son habileté nombre de ses amis, avec qui il passe d'ailleurs une grande partie de son temps (Ghostface Killah en particulier).

Shyheim travaille actuellement sur son 5e album, avec des artistes comme Mya ou encore le plus jeune frère d'ODB. RZA et " The Heat Makers " devrait s'illustrer à la production. l'albulm proposera également un DVD retraçant la vie de Shyheim.

Shyheim (born Shyheim Dionel Franklin on November 14, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York) is a rapper and actor who is a cousin to Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan and is a member of the affiliated group West Coast Killa Beez. He has released a total of four solo albums and is believed to be working in the studio on his fifth album with featured artist such as Mýa and Ol' Dirty Bastard's younger brother, and also production by The Heatmakerz and RZA. The album will include a documentary DVD on his life.

After moving to Staten Island from Brooklyn as a child Shyheim spent time living with Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah. He became affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan and released his first single "On and On" in 1993. His debut album AKA the Rugged Child was released in 1994 when he was only 14 years old. That same year he performed along side rap legends The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur and Big Daddy Kane at a concert at Madison Square Garden. He also appeared on the classic posse cut "Show & Prove" on Big Daddy Kane's album Daddy's Home along side Scoob Lover, Sauce Money,Jay-Z and Ol' Dirty Bastard. Shyheim appeared in the music video for TLC's #1 hit single "Waterfalls playing the main character. He has since been acting in film and television starting in 1996 with the movies Original Gangstas, The Preacher's Wife, In Too Deep and television sitcom The Parent 'Hood. Shyheim had a daughter named Skye on July 21, 2004. He was shot in a nightcub in new york. He was the youngest member of the Wu-tang Clan.<
